Well equipped hotel with friendly staff. Not the cheapest, but only 5 mins away from Capitol Hill and adjacent Mall route with museums and monuments. Neighborhood is not the best. People loiter during day and night times. Valet parking rather expensive @$52/day.

Staff was extremely professional. I wish the vending machines were not removed from the floors. Also, a gift shop would have been nice too. They sent me over to the neighboring hotel for Advil. These would be my only complaints. Everything else was very accommodating. Clean, tidy, and great breakfasts that saved me a lot of time, and gave me much-needed convenience.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your most recent stay. We are glad to hear our staff accommodated you well and that you enjoyed your clean, quality room and our great breakfast at Cabinet. We will take your feedback into consideration regarding both the vending machines and the possibility of providing more helpful items like Advil within our own hotel. Thank you for staying with us. Recently stayed here for a weekend-long meeting. Great location if taking the train. Not too many restaurants nearby, but the few that are around were not as busy as others may have been in other parts of DC. Only concern was it took three phones calls and almost 3 hours to have a toothbrush and toothpaste brought to my room. I have left them at home, but called down to have them brought up to me. The person on the phone taking my request was very helpful, but by the second call they were supposed to be on the way…and I think my third call took her over the edge. I eventually did get them and later the next morning a voucher for breakfast that I could not use as my meeting provided breakfast. I also had a mystery credit on my bill so they went above and beyond to make up for the delay. I would easily recommend this hotel…and BTW, the bartenders are very friendly service is quick.

Nice hotel. Rooms were a bit small, but the bathroom was very nice, great shower. Restaurant/bar area is pricey. Hamburger sliders were $18, and that's with no drinks or sides. Great customer service, we were upgraded due to an issue with the automatic check in.

The hotel was conveniently located 2 blocks from the capital, 2 blocks from the Metro, and 4 blocks from a WalMart. The rooms were small, in particular the restroom. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. One of the concierge's talked really fast (New Yorker) and the other very laid back. Staff was friendly. Don't book any tours from this hotel/concierge unless you know the tour is good. The tour they booked us on the Mt Vernon left a bit to be desired. The vehicles were old and dented, seat belts did not work and the driver/guides were not great.
