I assume most people pass this by on their way to the Lincoln memorial and that is a shame as this memorial deserves a visit.

This is such an amazing monument to amazing men and women. It’s placement right on the mall is so appropriate for its magnitude. We loved each pillar from each state and the wall of gold stars. So meaningful. Beautifully done.

A beautiful memorial which looked amazing at night. Would have liked to see it in daylight but did not have time.

It is truly magnificent. This beautiful monument leaves you in awe of our nations tribute to all who served during WWII. The pillars of each state and territories, the fountains, the wreaths all work together to make a beautiful memorial.

This is wonderful place to walk around, to take photographs, to think, to sit, to watch people, and just enjoy.
