Zaytinya is one of my favorite DC restaurants. The food is consistently good. The service is always good. The drinks are delicious. The outdoor space is well heated in the Winter. The Pita is amazing -- a must try and it's "bottomless" You cannot seem to go wrong with anything on the menu!

Absolutely delicious! The best tabouli ever! We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect! Great service, delicious food. It was a very memorable meal on our vacation!

We love Jose Andres which is why it’s really hard to write something bad about our experience (that’s why we couldn’t give one star)
We are very familiar with Mediterranean food, the food that we had at the restaurant is so worse than everything we know, we were actually shocked. Humus was so cold that it was hard to eat. Falafel was strange looking, cold, plain and flavorless. It’s hard to make any fried food so bland. Salad was the same, rice was the same. It was clear that the dishes were not prepared to order but probably stood there waiting to be ordered. It was very loud, very crowded. We sat near the door and people waiting to be seated were standing on top of us. Restrooms were dirty and two stalls did not work. Very disappointing.

Delicious!! Such a great luxurious experience. Our waiter offered wonderful additions for the vegetarians in the group for the pre-planned menu. Beautiful restaurant and wonderful ambiance. Would most certainly go back again!

The food was delicious and our service was fine but the noise level was deafening and completely ruined our meal. It was impossible to talk about the extraordinary food and share the enjoyment.
