I grew up in Arizona where each town has at least one hole in the wall that has great Mexican food and inexpensive prices. Rosa Mexicano is not one of those places. It is an upscale Mexican restaurant with food that is more sophisticated. The guacamole is made tableside with fresh ingrediants. I had a pomegranate margarita, Ensalada de la Casa (house salad) and enchiladas suizas. My husband had sangria, Ensalada de la Casa and a quesadilla . I don't ususally drink margaritas, but I love pomegranates. I felt that the lime overwhelmed the pomegranate flavor. We enjoyed everything else. The sangria came in a little pitcher and was enough for two glasses. The salads were large enough that I could not eat all of my enchiladas. (I took the rest home). Our bill was $70.
