Had Sunday brunch last Sunday and was seated immediately. good bloody mary and mimosas. Relatively few choices but to me that increases probability that food will be good and it was. Service was efficient and atmosphere albeit pub like was casual and laid back. Highly recommend in place of other nearby places that had 90 minutes or more waits

Walking around U street corridor and popped in for a drink. The bar was half full and very dark. There was no A/C so it was hot and muggy inside. We asked for vodka soda and the club soda was flat. They did find a soda gun with better soda but didn’t change the one that was out. Another bartender proceeded to make a vodka soda for another person with the same flat soda. We didn’t order any food but I wasn’t a huge fan.

Brunch in DC is a serious event. Many of the best places require a reservation. 14th St is always hopping, so it was a delight to be able to cruise into Saint Ex on a Sunday at 1P and be able to get an outside table.
Service was excellent, menu covered the basics, and the tab was totally reasonable, only downside was too little syrup for my pancakes. And yes I'm sure I could have asked for more.

The house burger and the fried green tomato BLT were excellent. Wait staff was polite and attentive. The atmosphere was great, and they have outside seating. Went for dinner and definitely would go back.

While we only had cocktails it was a fun, hip, friendly gathering spot. The bourbon "Suffering Bastar..." and "New York Sour II" were yummy.
