I’m not sure how recently the hotel was renovated, but the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. Unfortunately if you are a light sleeper, the sounds from the street are easily heard and the air conditioner was unusually loud.

Great location and close to proximity to tourist attractions. Had a full suite and the room was amazing! Clean, spacious, and more than enough space for two people. The food, drinks, and service from the bar was great

When we arrived curbside, we were told that the only parking available was Valet parking, which is OK, I guess; but not at $55.46/day (including taxes). WOW! That's expensive parking. What is worse, there is self-parking next door and within the same block at half the price. The fact that their bellmen did not volunteer this information/option leaves me feeling sour and disingenuous on their part. Shame on Hilton management for allowing this. I did notify their management, and they just shrugged their shoulder, not a caring answer. So, if you want to save some money, park your own car at any garage on or near/ around the block for half the price.

Thank you for taking time to evaluate our hotel. We apologize you were unhappy with the cost of our valet service. We are competitively priced, but due to limited parking here and in the downtown area, parking can be expensive. We hope this didn’t overshadow your otherwise nice visit and that you will choose us again in the future.

Sincerely,

We selected this location when Hilton hosted a Summer sale because of it's proximity to the White House and National Mall. This was a short trip of just over 2 days for touring with my daughter. It was her first time to DC so we wanted to look around and get ideas for a longer visit next year. We arrived at 2PM and our room was not ready, which is understood since check in is at 3PM. We walked to the White House and sat across the street at Starbucks until approximately 3:15PM. At that time, we were told the room was not ready. Due to the extreme heat outside, we decided to sit in the hotel while we waited. I was asked twice if I wanted to change my room location and floor but due to the view promised to my daughter, I declined each time. It was not until after 4PM (closer to 430PM) that the desk Manager approached us with complimentary water bottles and stated that our room was ready. I appreciated the apologies, however, the gesture of Free Water bottles for our wait was absurd. I have a Gold membership, nearing the next level so one of our free benefits as a Hilton Honors member is free water already. I was just grateful to get to our room and relax for the evening after a full day of air travel.

Wonderful experience! The hotel staff is extremely friendly and they even had a gift delivered to my room when they found out that it was birthday. The only down side is that there is no parking at this hotel. Valet is the only option.
