Beautiful gardens, helpful staff, not too crowded... what more can you ask for?

Just an inspiring place to visit. All these plants from all over the world, from different climates all in one place and free of charge is amazing!! They have people explaining about orquids, cacao plant and many more! They have restrooms also which many museums at this time have but are out of order for some reason.

For years I had seen the Botanic Gardens when visiting the US House offices. This trip I decided to visit with some of the free time I had. It was more impressive than I had expected. Of course the flowers and tropical plants were awesome, however, the diversity of plants was truly amazing. I visited on a cool early March day. The stark contrast provided by the humid green inside and cool, brown outside was very clear. I highly recommend especially in the Winter.

It won’t take you long to visit, but you should definitely take the time to check this place out!

Beautiful views and unique plants everywhere.

This was definitely worth the stop and we were glad we stopped here.

This was such an amazing place to visit amid 5 inches of DC snow. I’m sure it showcases different flowers though the seasons but the orchids were stunning on this trip. We missed the cherry blossoms by a few days so this eased my disappointment. A beautiful MUST see venue for any flower/plant lover.
