We stumbled into Siroc just before the inauguration, when reservations were tough to get, and were thrilled with our find. It had opened the night before, but other than the small crowd you would never know it. The food is creative Italian with a really interesting array of dishes including grilled shrimp on a tapanade, Rockfish with artichokes and the best Osso Buco I've ever eaten. We've already been back and it is quickly becoming a favorite. The decor is simple but comfortable and the service is very good. I look forward to an expanded wine list, but the selections they have are good if not exceptional. The location is great --right on McPherson Square, close to K Street, the White House and most of the downtown hotels. A winner!
