The memorial is another fitting tribute to all who served. Be sure to look at the statues reflections in the black wall. If you look close at the faces of the Korean War you many notice one that looks like MASH

Coming from the Lincoln Memorial you will pass this on you way around the Tidal basin on to the Jefferson Memorial. This is one of the best for sure.

I love this memorial. A guide is essential if you want to understand all the symbolism embodied by this exhibit. I love the diversity of soldiers, the fact that one is always looking at you wherever you stand, and the feeling of solidarity among the soldiers. Get a good guide. Highly recommended.

My favorite memorial in D.C., it’s a very well done and thought provoking memorial. The solider statues are very realistic, you almost can imagine them on a march in the war. The faces etched into the wall bring to life the many people who served. When we were there, a Korean War veteran was there with his family, he stopped and saluted the soldiers, a moving sight. Such a beautiful momument to those who served, well worth a visit.

Next to the Lincoln Memorial, my favorite site. It's so life like, I love to see the expression on each person. Recommend a visit.
