This museum is a must see. It was definitely one of the most interesting ones in Washington. Allow plenty of time to go through it as there is lots to see.

We got there around 11AM and waited 1 hour to get in the door. There is airport style security that slows entering the museum. Once in there is more than enough to see and do. The lines disappear after 4PM but keep in mind the museum closes at 7PM.

This is an excellent museum, and it is definitely a "must see" place for visitors to the Washington, DC area. Sadly, it has not changed much in the 36 years I have lived in this area.

We went to both museums. Was really great in both. Really accessible and interesting for all ages. Found a piece of family history which we were not expecting. Highly recommend this museum for anyone interested in flight or space. If you get the opportunity do go in the planetarium the images are breathtaking.

Just as I remembered as a kid. My kids weren’t as excited because they are so used to museums with a lot more hands on activities. The flight simulators were a hit with them and worth the $10 each.
