Neat to be in the original Smithsonian building but not much to see. It had a cafe that offers a good selection of food and drink but not an inexpensive place. Worth a quick look while your in the area.

We love to start our trip to the Mall here. The castle is beautiful inside and out, well worth a stop. The displays are small, but interesting. The garden behind the building is beautiful. The restrooms are nice and clean.

Loved this place. Small but not crowded and very interesting to walk around. Loved the interactive video display. One of the nicest souvenir shops too. Good sized, clean restrooms.

Red building stands out immediately in National Mall. The garden is lovely and was not very crowded over the weekend. I could simply spend hours there with my book. Inside the building is as impression as the outside. There are thematic pieces from every Smithsonian museum. But I was more interested in the inner and outer architecture

An iconic building with a small museum inside ad cafe. Not huge so won't take long. Smithson's remains are interred here.
