We dropped by mid-afternoon on a Thursday in November. The place was only a quarter full but we were hungry and cold and there was something about New Big Wong that looked right. We ordered soups, dumplings and Mu Shi Chicken. All were delicious, so much so that even though we had only a couple of days in DC, we made our way over there again the next evening. This time, the place was full (which we were happy to see). A second visit to a restaurant can be disappointing, but not this one. We had different dumplings, different soups and a different main course but the result was the same - two satisfied diners. To top it off, the prices are excellent.

Great service, and if you want lobster or crab I don't think you'll find any fresher than what's in their tank at the back of the restaurant. Hot & sour soup is very good, so is the wonton. Crab wontons leave a lot to be desired, but the service makes up for everything that mayb e slightly less than what I'd want it to be.

Very good, fresh food at great value. good vegetarian food compared to some Chinese places. I've seen better, I've seen much worse. Customer service what you'd expect in China (big busboy carts wheeled around tiny restaurant and servers curtly taking orders). But that's part of the experience. Majority Chinese customers, so that's a great sign. Not romantic at all, but does the trick and is at least as good as the other Chinese place I've been in Chinatown.

This place isn't much to look at. But the food was marvelous. Everything was hot and very, very tasty. The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly. We liked it so much we went back two days later.

Last Thursday a friend and myself ate here. We decided we had to have Chinese food in China Town. First thing, the server new very little English. Then when she brought us water it was room temperature with no ice. We ordered our food and it did arrive very promptly. When we started to eat a roach crawled across our table. We immediately asked for the Check and left. Actually ended up walking around the corner to Mcdonald's and eating. Looking through the window it looked like a very nice little restaurant which is why we ate there. However the service sucks and I'll never eat there again. It was by far the WORST restaurant in Washington D.C.
