My husband and I had a very nice stay at Glengary B&B. The owners, Glenys and Gary are very nice hosts and helpful persons. As we were doing a hiking tour on the Queen Charlotte Track we had booked Glengary B&B for the night before leaving and again for a night when we returned to Picton after our hiking on QCT as it was possible to leave our luggage at the B&B until we returned again. Glenys made us a very good breakfast to take along on the boat. We appreciated very that this was possible.

We had such fun staying here, thanks to the first-rate attention of our lovely hosts who could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. We were so pleased to have decided to stay for three nights as there is so much to see and do in Picton and its neighbourhood. The Glengary is perfectly situated to explore the town and our room was extremely comfortable with the guest sitting room providing refreshments and tv.

Our hosts were outstanding, picked us up from the ferry terminal and were happy to share their advice and recommendations for this to do/see/eat in the area. Breakfast was tasty with wonderful homemade bread and jams. We were here in December 2016 and they were not affected by the earthquake.

We only spent one night here but were pleased with our choice. It was very convenient for our walk to the jetty the next day and equally convenient for walking to town for dinner. The room was spotlessly clean and, although there was no fridge or tea/coffee facilities in the room, there was a guest lounge where we enjoyed a hot drink and freshly baked cookie before bed. That was not quite so convenient as having facilities in the room but next best thing. Breakfast was only continental but was the best continental we had on the holiday - lovely home-poached fruits and home-made bread and muffins. Lovely!!

Thank you for your review and comments. As you know we have all our facilities located in the guest lounge, This enables us to provide a much wider range of teas, coffees etc. than would be the case with room only facilities. Guests also have the option of meeting others staying with us, relaxing with a magazine or other reading material or watching Television or a DVD.

Fabulous hosts. Great location. Park your car in the driveway and walk down to the harbor. Beautiful views from room and property. Sit outside in evening and enjoy the view. Wonderful breakfast. Private bathroom.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view of harbor
