We stayed here having had an awful experience in another Riga hotel and were delighted we chose here. Our room was big, airy, clean and comfortable with comfy beds and a good bathroom. The location is perfect - not as noisy as some others and easy distance to the very centre. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had one with a balcony - definitely a plus!!

A trip away with the Mrs for her 30th birthday...

I emailed the hotel before hand to ask if they could have a bottle of fizzy booze waiting in the room as it was the mrs' birthday. Which they did :) They also offered me a ariport taxi for 14 lats. I said no, which was a mistake as the one I got cost 20lats

Check in was quick and easy, and the staff all said happy birthday to the mrs.

The reception and hall ways are nice and decorative. As was our room. We had paid the little extra for a junior suite. The room had a table with a sofa, wardrobe, a large desk, bed side tables and draws, a large chest of draws with a tv on top and a huge four poster bed.

The room had a slight french renaissance feel to it.

There was also a well stocked mini bar which was priced reasonably.

The bathroom had a bath with a shower over it and a couple of cupboards and draws. Enough towels and a dressing gown and slippers. The Soaps and gels were also plentiful and pleasant.

The wardrobe had a small safe in it, that would only really fit money and passports. possibly a small netbook.

the room had two windows, one opened as a door out on to the small terrace which had a table and chair.

The room had two radiators and and aircon unit.

the room had been cleaned and things tidied and replaced each day.

Breakfast was a very good buffet. A wide selection of cheese and meat and fish. Lots of salads and fruits and bread. And like all good hotels abroad, they have an interesting crack and an english breakfast..

The staff even let me check out a couple of hours late as I had nearly killed my self by accidentally drinking far too much the day before.

Room Tip: room 316, the jnr suite, was ace
