This is an excellent hotel for a business traveller - and the restaurants are very good as well. Expect to pay for the good service.

I stayed here in March 2012. This is a very nice hotel. The room was pretty well appointed, and very well thought out. (For an example of their attention to detail, they clearly thought carefully about the lighting design, which seemed to let me get exactly the right level of light for any time of the day.) The bed was a bit firm but generally comfortable. And the room was very quiet. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful (and spoke English well).

I also had a dinner at the hotel restaurant (Horisont), and while it was not incredibly imaginative or challenging, it was certainly very good.

In sum, this is one of the nicest hotels I've been in, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I really liked this hotel. I stayed with my boyfriend for 1 night on the 22nd floor and I was impressed by the cleanliness, the sleep quality and the great service from the staff.
There's also very affordable prices in the cafe, which was nice. The room service was also fast and affordable.

The only negative thing I can think of is the price of our room was rather high (in the one hundreds) but yet breakfast was charged 19.50. You would think it would be included if you are paying that much to stay there.
But other than that, our stay was great!

This is a modern businesshotel located 15 minutes walk from old town. Next door is a large department store, Stockmann.

+:
Modern rooms, good size
Biggest rainforestshower ever seen
Executive rooms have great view (27.-29. floor, ask for seaview
Very good executive lounge, great food and drinks
Nice pool, suitable for a swim, sauna, fitnees equipment on 11. floor,
Breakfast has good quality
Staff in general great

-:
Bathroom could have more privacy
A/C was difficult to adjust
20 minutes waitingtime for breakfast when hotel is fully booked and no breakfast in the executive lounge

All in all a good choice, and even we were here as tourists we preferred staying here instead of at a hotel in Old town

Room Tip: Go for executive rooms and ask for room with seaview

This really is an excellent hotel, as one would expect from a 5 stars establishment. Location is great, short walk to the old city and also to the few big shopping malls. It is right next to Stockman, so it has a great supermarket practically next door.
We asked for a room with a bath tub, and we got a really nice room on 19th floor. Bathroom was great, bath tub was quite big and comfy. Room itself is pretty standard, and it had a great view.
Breakfast is excellent, and so is the room service menu which is quite affordable and yet very delicious and superbly made. Staff is very service minded, polite and helpful.
Pool is also perfect, and what was very important to me the water in it was not cold so you don't have to freeze. Saunas are also nice, especially the one with a view outside.
Restaurant and the bar on the 30th floor were just amazing. Great service, great food, great view, it really is a culinary indulgence. The food looks great, like a piece of art and tastes even better. Price is not too high either, actually it is much cheaper than many quite average restaurants in Helsinki and this is a 5 starts hotel after all.
The only two things that could be better are the aircon in the room which is a bit on the loud side and not too effective (maybe cause it's winter so they maybe programme it in such a way that it won't let you change the settings, not sure), but it can be turned off if it's too noisy so no big deal, and the bed, which is nice, large and hard, just the way I like it, but it seems very sensitive to movements, so every time my husband would move during the night (just a tiny normal movement of a sleeping person) the whole bed would shake like a jelly and it would wake me up, I have never felt anything like that in my life, really very weird. Or maybe I am just too sensitive as I do tend to wake up all the time for all different kinds of reasons, so maybe normal person would not even notice it. But anyway, these are but a minor inconveniences, we did have nice rest and slept quite ok all three nights.
We will deffinitely stay here again on our next trip to Tallin and I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a bathtub, or on a high floor, or whatever your preferance is, the staff is helpful and kind and will not dissapoint you in your request.
