The Patio Hostel was a little tough to find because it is tucked behind the buildings on the street, you enter the grounds through an archway between 2 stores, but it is an open, sunny area and very quiet. I was there in September 2010 and had a dorm to myself, a nice treat.
The rooms are nice, clean and offer really comfortable wood bunkbeds with large storage drawers that you can lock under the bottom bunk.
It is a short walk to shopping and the beautiful town square, and from there to the castle and the many other sights.
I loved the gelato in Bratislava, especially the Lemon, very tart, served in small cones, just enough to satisfy that craving but not expand your waistline, and only about 50 cents US.More
