The hotel is on the top two floors of the Eszterházy Károly college in Eger, it is used for training the students in the Hotel industry. The exterior of the building resembles a 1970's/1980's office block, rather ugly looking, so if you want charm, character, romance, style, etc you need to look elsewhere. But if you just want a good value roof over your head, very close to the centre of Eger, this will be fine, just do not expect any luxury, the rooms are nothing special, and a bit dated really.
I liked that you had a car park at the front, behind a barrier, and a 24 hour ground floor security guard, who always said hello to us. From here you take the lift to the 6th floor where the hotel reception is located. The students are cheerful and polite, and although their English is limited, it was not an issue for us, they knew enough English.
We did not try the breakfast, and instead we went to a nice bakery very close by, just opposite the big church at the end of the road.
Overall, it is an ok option if you are on a budget, but there are surely much better options in Eger if you spend a little more.More
