We recently stayed at this hotel for the second time and it was just as good as the first time we stayed here.
The hotel is lovely and the room was clean and spacious.
The staff here are friendly and helpful and happy to make recommendations for restaurants, etc.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for somewhere to stay in Budapest.

This hotel is comfortable, in a decent area of town, but in no way is it a 5 star hotel.
The reception staff though were exceptional

Attached photos are of breakfast buffet, inside of elevator, sauna exterior, and our pool towels . The towels were handed to us by the pool attendant.

Well, I could not consider it as 5 star hotel. I can call it premium suites/ apartment. I didn’t feel any luxury. It is too old and has one elevator only. The ironing facility upon request. If you are looking for an apartment this is good choice for you. I had a problem with the washing machine when the drain water get around the flat and that made it messy as I tried to fix it then talk with house keeping. Also there is no soundproof which was inconvenience. The only thing I like her is the location and the fountain in front of the entrance.

Elegant, quiet & tasteful accommodations just off busy, hipster area (krt. Erzsebet) Rooms face quiet, pleasant inner courtyard with distinctive Euro flavor Hotel restaurant (Chess) well appointed with euro-centric cuisine However, many authentic Hungarian eateries just around the corner A lovely gem

Room Tip: Lower floors less noisy

This hotel has been wonderful. I am travelling alone and they have been really attentive. The restaurant in the hotel “chess” is amazing. I had the goulash soup and it was so good! I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone who is visiting Budapest. It is also quite handy for public transport
