We spent 5 nights at the Boscolo Hotel in Budapest over Easter 2012 not really knowing what to expect. We realized we had made the right choice the moment we walked in. The hotel is stunningly beautiful, elegant, discrete, spacious and comfortable. We especially would like to recognize the staff at the reception desk, whom we found exceptional. They were helpful in every possible way, highly efficient, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Through the reception desk we booked events, dinners, and tours. Even what was not in the program they made it happen!

We travelled from 6 to 9/4/2012 during Catholic Easter. From the moment we reached the hotel we were stunned from the building, the reception, the New York Cafe, the room itself.
The stuff was very friendly and spoke very good english. The room was very clean, the bed king size and the bathroom was a bit of an experience! The breakfast was excellent with a lot to choose from and really qualitive. We also enjoyed the Spa section. It was clean. The only problem we had was with the locker in the changing rooms. The woman who was in charge in the Spa section gave both to me and to another woman the same key to lock our things. So be careful not to carry money or other precious things. The M2 metro station Blaha is 1 min from the hotel in a very nice neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our stay and i surely recommend Boscolo to anyone who likes luxury...

Really a top quality 5 star hotel in the heart of Budapest. Luxurious junior suits, enormous size (almost 70m2), with huge bathroom. Good sound insolation, nice and helpfull staff. Didn't try the breakfast but guess it would be perfect (the price is 25eur per person). The bed is big and comfortable, the room has a coffe machine, iron set, bathrobes and slippers. The only thing missing is that TV wasn't working at the moment, due to some cable problems, and there was no really hot water, so only mildly hot. Bathroom had a big tub, and even bigger shower, with 2 sinks. It was perfectly clean. Would go back. Didn't get the chance to see the spa and pool.

The interior was pretty. Full stop. The room was adequate. The free wifi worked. The biggest issue I had with the hotel was the cost of, well, everything else. Had dinner for 4 in the cafe, which was three bowls of pasta and tomato sauce, and some meat & potatoes, and no alcohol, and managed to spend $150US! Buffet breakfast was another $20/person, for standard fare that comes complimentary at many other hotels with fewer stars and much less cost. No dings on the staff; they do their level best at all times. Bottom line: stay here, but eat elsewhere!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE ! I have never seen such an opulent building - it really is breath taking. The service was excellent, room perfect , food in the New York Café restaurant super. Peter the consiege very helpful indeed - he even mended the spectacles I broke. Spoil yourself-stay there.

Room Tip: We were on the 6th floor at the back - very quiet. Ask the bell hop to adjust the heating as this is...
