Stayed here with my sister before a river cruise. Location was great with easy access to lots of sights in Budapest. Tons of restaurants in the area and we always felt safe.
The room was clean and we had a private bathroom. Bring your own toiletries.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very basic accommodation but worked for the nights we stayed there.
Me and 4 other friends passed 2 nights in maveryck, in a total of almost tree days visiting the city. It was a great experience, people where so nice with us and all was clean, there's a huge possibilities of collabs they have (with thermal baths, restaurants,...) it's a really good space that I recommend!
staff was friendly but They made the payment without informing me of the weekend price. one fonthe staff told me its about 7 to 6 euro per day so i extended my stay but they charge 30euro for 3days. it was realllllly upset that i didnt get any information lol
rooms condition was fine and in the morning it was unable to take shower cuz tjeres no warm water coming out
so disappointed
This was the first time that I stayed at hostel and I had second thoughts but it was good. First of all, staff is very friendly and rooms are clean also you will have a curtain, light and plugs in your bed. Location is so good. You should use 100E bus from airport and get off the bus at Astoria Subway Station and just walk for 5 minutes. Thanks Maverick
Prompt communication when booking room and airport transfer which worked well for me. . On arrival quick check in and my private room en suite (204)was clean, spacious, comfy double bed and good facilities, although ask for a room that is not next to the road if you are a light sleeper as people coming out of nearby bars were a bit noisy ( not the fault of the Lodge) Dory was especially helpful and friendly and as an older woman travelling on my own (Nanda) she kept her eye out for me to make sure I was Ok. The Lodge has left luggage,quick wi.fi, computers to use to print boarding pass,a shared kitchen to cook food and free tea and coffee. lots of information and staff were able to help with questions in good English. The location was near to bars, places to eat and public transport. There is an affiliated Restaurant next door (Fat Mama) where you get a discount for breakfast which was always great. They also have live music.My evening meal was delicious. Really handy if you come back tired from sightseing and dont want to go far to eat. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone visiting Budapest.
An amazing place to stay over: excellent prices, friendly atmosphere, clean, in the heart of Budapest! Clubs and restaurants are near by and the personnel is ready to arrange everything you might need or ask for ! Especially sweet Dora in the reception that we have the same name !!❤️❤️❤️ Enjoy the city !!
