Freshly made with a special every day, eat in or take away in handy to use insulated beakers, excellent soup at very good prices.

Highly recommended.

Soup Culture and its next door buddy Pasta Culture are perfect for a quick and filling lunch that gets the job done. There's lots of soup options so I imagine some are better than others! Not super tasty but not bad if that makes sense, so...just alright I guess. You can get pasta or soup or soup and sandwich combos. I picked the apricot cream soup (cold fruit soups are a typical Hungarian thing) and the quattro formaggio panini expecting it to be a bit like a grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was great for if you'd like to try a traditional soup at a decent price- refreshing kind of like a really thin smoothie? The panini ended up being a weird pizza bread sort of thing with tomato sauce which surprised me, but was nothing special. I much preferred a separate visit where I picked up some fresh pasta with mushroom cream sauce that was stroganoff-esque and decent quality for the price. TL;DR you can find better, but if you just need a quick lunch fix, it'll do the job! Great for gloomy days when you need comfort food.

Nice place to have a healthy soup if you are in hurry. Only for 1.8 EUR you can get really tasty soup with different toppings. Soups are really not worse than in other gastrobar (that is very famous in Budapest) but sandwiches here definitely could be better.

Chicken soup was a really good option for a rainy day!

This place serves soups in paper cups that can be ordered along with a sandwich if desired. They have three or four different soups on offer daily. It's a very simple, yet effective concept. I ordered the cabbage soup and it was delicious. It is a very quick and cheap option for a light lunch or a snack to warm up.
