The building is beautiful and the inside too. We had a guided tour. The guide was funny and informative. We came early and got the last tickets on a tour 30 min later. Book tickets in advance to be sure.

During the day it is possible to see the beauty of the architecture. At night the sight is beautiful from the other side of the city (Buda).

Beautiful building whose design was apparently based on The Houses of Parliament in UK.
We didn’t venture inside as we were only in Budapest for a couple of days but have heard that it’s beautiful inside.

And have to see it as a tourist. Walk nearby and marvel at it's splendour. Impressive piece of building art. Can't miss it.

Do not miss visiting the building both night and day coz it is really worth the time do so. A tip here... go early in the morning to book the tour inside the building as the tickets get sold out real fast and beat the crowd.

The Parliament tour was eased first by advance tickets with a bus/staff transportation direct to the frontside. The guide (using vox boxes so all could hear clearly), was knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing her country’s history throughout its beautifully artisan halls, nooks in which legislators meet each other to craft deals or speak with constituents, and offered plenty of stops for pictures. Take advantage of the elevator if your health needs a little assist: it’s a long 96 steps up the Grand Staircase to meet up the rest of the group. Hungary was founded in 896AD, therefore the number 96 is reinforced thru its arched, doorways and steps. The inner dome holds the guarded first Hungarian kings crown given by the Pope. That cupola is incredible architecture; the fun fact of the golden cylindrical dish is the personal cigar repository for members who needed a break from legislative debate. This is a must see stop during your visit to Budapest.

Truly Magnificent. With lights lighted up when sun sets and birds flying in the sky, truly a sight to behold. The intricate details of the buildings are not lost with the gold / yellow / orange highlights.

The pictures of this place don't do it justice. We weren't able to enter the building, but walked all around it. The facets, angles, and materials of this building are really interesting, especially the domes and spires. Go see it up close!
