I returned last night from my stag do to Budapest. 8 of us stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was fantastic.
The atrium / foyer is very impressive, the staff at reception helpful and the bar staff attentive. Price wise the bar is expensive by most standards except maybe London.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in and the rooms were spacious and had everything you would expect.
The pool area is peaceful and relaxing and the two saunas are also excellent. There is a hairdresser if you are keen. We weren't.
The location was excellent and the views impressive. The Casino in the hotel was good fun and I even managed to leave almost £100 up. Budapest was more expensive than we'd thought but the quality of the food and wine was surprising, especially the Red "Bulls Blood".
If you are keen for architecture and history then there is a fair bit of that around but there were also plenty of other things to do.
It was well worth the extra money to stay here than the other 3 to 4 stars for £15/night less.
