We had a beautiful stay at the Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge. Our room 410 had uninterrupted views of the Chain Bridge.
We love checking out the local markets and the Budapest Markets did not dissapoint. The Christmas lights around the town were more spectacular than many parts of Germany that we had travelled through. (We had made this an 11 week Christmas adventure). The Christmas markets in the shopping square were unique compared to the repeditive markets of Germany. A must to try are their version of the potato cake.
For 50 Euro we could have the room till we departed at 6pm, as we had a long train trip to endure we spent the afternoon lazing around the 27 degree pool and sauna.More
