Wow! Where do i start??! From the very first enquiry made about this beautiful place i received the most wonderful hospitality and welcome one could wish for from a private rental. The apartment is magnificent with huge rooms, beautifully decorated and well kept. The location couldn't be a metre better located, everything within reach, the danube 2 minutes, andrassy shopping area 5 minutes and the bars and restaurants? well, take your pick! Ann and Daniel who own and look after the place made sure we never had anything to worry about during our stay, they went above and beyond, they genuinely care about you having a good stay and you dont get that just anywhere so a huge thank you. I travel a lot and have stayed at some amazing places but never have i grew an attachment to the place i was staying, this was a first. The place felt like home. The day i left i handed the keys in with a heavy heart but also knowing that one day soon i will return and this would be where i would stay. I could go on about the details about the place but really that is for you to discover but if you are looking for luxury and the opportunity for a stay in a beautiful city, with the privacy of your own space but still stay within your budget, look no further!

This is wonderful for everything as you can walk everywhere. Even though it's in the City Centre is it quiet and very relaxing. Beds really comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for a crowd of 6 women. We chose a different place to sit for pre drinks as the apartment is so spacious. Would recommend

“Fantastic apartment, perfect location.”
Reviewed 7 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed here with 4 teenage girls and had a lovely time in this beautiful city. The apartment was easy to find using public transport from the airport (we bought a multi-day travel pass which covers buses, trains, trams and even a boat and cost about £13 for 7 days per adult, this can be bought at the airport).
The apartment was very clean and well equipped and located right in the centre yet with no traffic noise at all. It was very grand and spacious.
We enjoyed the thermal baths (particularly the Szechenyi Baths and the Palatinus Strand on Margaret Island. The zoo was also fun and so was the central market.

“Little gem in the heart of Budapest, thoroughly recommend”
Reviewed 26 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Stayed in this lovely apartment for 7 nights with our 3 children (aged 7,11 and 13). Very impressed with the owner's rapid and helpful responses to all our enquiries, and the handover of keys etc on arrival. Spotlessly clean, huge rooms, well equipped. Perfect for our family, but larger groups may find the layout difficult in terms of privacy as all the rooms are interconnecting - so if using sofa beds in lounge/TV room you may find it less comfortable if staying for more than a few nights - having said that there is a long "back corridor" runs the length of the apartment you could use to get around this problem.
The main bathroom shower was a bit tricky as there is no shower curtain, so can't really be used for anything other than washing hair over the bath which is a real shame, as it means there is only really one shower - again OK for a smaller family group but could be tricky if there were 10 sharing the apartment. The functioning shower is a fixed head "rain" shower which our kids hated as they object to getting their faces and hair wet - unavoidable in this type of shower!
Location is brilliant, right in heart of city, plenty of options to eat out and a supermarket 5 mins walk away. We used the official airport shuttle buses to get to the apartment - brilliant value at £36 RETURN for all 5 of us, advise you book online to get best price and least waiting times. Dropped off and collected 1 minute from apartment (as Haris Koz is pedestrianised), pick up was perfectly timed for our flight home.

No air con in the apartment but despite the temp being over 30 degrees every day, the apartment was never too hot - you can safely leave all the windows open all day (you are 2/3 floors up). The ONLY downside to this is the noise level in the evenins - obviously you are right in centre of Budapest and you should expect to hear street noise until late, having open windows means you will struggle if you are a light sleeper. However the double paned windows are extremely effective at blocking noise so unless it is too hot to close them you will be fine. There are also electric fans in every room to help keep you cool if you shut the windows.

The smaller double bedroom overlooks the stairwell to the apartment block. It has one tiny window which if left closed makes the room quite stuffy and airless - but if you open it you will be hearing the entrance door banging all night long and folks coming up and down from other apartments in the block. Again, it was fine for us but others may find it difficult to sleep through.

Budapest is a beautiful city, we had an action packed week with lots to see and do, wouldn't hesitate to return to the city or the apartment in the future. There is so much to see and do and its all easily accessible by walking or metro/tram. For tranquil days away from the bustle of the city margaret island is just perfect - few stops on the tram and a short walk takes you into peace and shaded tranquility.

“A perfect base for Budapest.”

I couldn't recommend this place any more! It is fantastic. Lots of room, lots of beds, very bright, three toilets (important in big groups) and Daniel couldn't of been a better host. There were six of us in our group and we got a bed each. The two sofa beds are more than comfortable. I would advise anyone to stay here. We have already spoken about returning with our partners.
