Highly recommended restaurant and well served. The staff was very helpful. We did enjoy the atmosphere and quality of the food.

A couple of days ago, me & my best friend went for dinner.

We went by recommendation of a working colleague of mine (we are cooks in a 4 star superior hotel in Austria), he is from near Budapest and Borkonya is his favourite restaurant.

We had the degustation menu with wine paring. The wine paring was perfect.

The food was well presented and packed with flavour. The combinations made sense and everything tasted wonderfully

The deserts were the best of the menu and I am not a desert person...

Special mention to our waiter Daniel, who was the perfect guide for that culinary journey we enjoyed a lot.

If you are in Budapest you definitely should try it out!!

Amazing food. Exelent service. A very plate i had was a unique experience. My starter was exelent (duck liver) And my soup was really lovely. The main dish(pegion breast) was Amazing (i had pegion before in another place And i disliked it). The salad seems simple but every individual ingridient had its unique intense flavor like it should(in hungary usually the vegetables And Fruits are taste less). The desert was from heaven. Orgasm in the mouth. I have been there for dinner And i had a great experience.

I was expecting it a bit more quiet. It was a bit too loud at the begining of my dinner.

Still, the Best restaurant i have tried in Budapest by far And i live here the last 6 years

We arrived to this resturant because the michlen star.
The food were Excellent. The service were very good . The atmosphere were just good, nothing more.
Its a good place to spend your evening.
The dishes were very intresting and tasty.

I think we just had the best meal of our lives at Borkhonya. We were made to feel so welcome, and the food was quite simply top notch. Every dish was imaginative, beautifully presented, and most importantly of course, tasted wonderful. Add to this friendly and knowledgeable staff, who together work as a wonderful team, and I can't think of anywhere better. Thankyou #teamborkhonya for making our Budapest experience so special xxx
