Stayed at Polonia Palace for 3 nights last week. Great hotel with wonderful staff. Amazing buffet breakfast complete with champagne and vodka. Lucas at the front desk was very accommodating as were all the bartenders in the cool bar, providing us ice for the bottle of vodka we bought in town. Rooms are really nice with plenty of space, great bathrooms, free bottled water, nice amenities. Only things to improve would be free internet in the room, although internet is free in the lobby and they have 2 computers for guest use in the lobby. Breakfast can get crowded, but it was never a big problem, and it was well worth it. Location is good for centre city location (close to transportation, mall, palace of culture, etc.) but it's a hike to the old town. Suggest walk up Royal Route (about 30 minutes) and then easily can take a taxi back quite cheaply. We took the hotel taxi (mercedes) from hotel to airport for 70 zloty, and really felt it was fair (although a regular taxi will be half this price, it's still pretty cheap..about 20 USD). Highly recommend this hotel !!
