Everything about this place is first-rate.
The location is so good you almost can't believe your luck upon arrival. It's right there in the "beautiful" part of Warsaw (and believe me, there are quite a few - a whole lot, actually - of parts that are really ugly), just off Nowy Swiat. Restaurants, cafes and bars are left and right, yet it's not like you're in the middle of a theme park.
The hostel has a feel of newness about it. As with all things new, it's clean - because it's new, obviously. This place, however, goes one better - they don't just rely on feeling "clean", they keep everything about themselves meticulously clean by scrubbing, washing, cleansing and polishing everything and anything. This particularly applies to showers, toilets and washrooms.
Our room (#20) had a balcony, and even though it was too cold in November to do anything on it, I can only imagine how nice it will be come summer. There was also a flat TV in the room (the selection of channels, however, was rather miserable - but that's okay), a large wardrobe, a couple of chairs and a small table.
So why the "but..."?
All through the night there were parties going on. Some of them were so loud I thought a whole football stadium gathered to celebrate a victory. If I had been a light sleeper, I'd probably have gone crazy. As it happens, I snored away carelessly.
