Arguably the best location in whole of Warsaw. It is located ul Krakowskie Przedmiescie opposite the Royal Palace. The old Wasa king Sygismund III stands outside on top of his column looking into your bedroom. The Hotel has only limited capacity and the worlds slowest lift where you need to press a button all the way up in order to get to the Hotel accomodation on the third floor. Room is spacious and clean with en suite shower and toilet. It is cleaned daily and they give you fresh towels as well. The staff is very friendly but it might help if you knew a few words of Polish. Of course you then have the whole of the Warsaw's old town at your feet and the River views nearby. The hotel is used by the poets and writers for poetry recitals. They have a restaurant downstairs that I suspect has been leased out, but the food is very good. It is Called something like "Literatka". The breakfast is in your room. It is left for you to collect from outside your room. It is a simple roll and cheese and jam affair. We were absolutely delighted with the location as sometimes it takes you sometime to locate any sights. We had an extra bonus in the in October Sunday it seemed like a harvest festival with dancing and stalls of goodies on the square. I bought some Christmas presents there.
