One of our group of 4 was vegetarian, so chose some restaurants in advance with help from tripadvisor. Food had plenty of flavour mainly thai and big portions, all freshly and well cooked - you go past the kitchen on the ground floor and you can see all of the fresh stuff being prepped. All of us enjoyed it although a couple of us had never tried tofu before, which wasn't unpleasant but maybe takes a bit of getting used to. Both the menu (and the setting) was quirky, in a castle tower, but interesting and different from your standard place, even the drinks were on the interesting side - but has unusual beers and soft drinks from a fridge which you select. Staff were nice and were working hard. Quite a bit out of the main square (but only 10-15 mins walk and probably all the better for it - quieter). The system seemed to be that you ordered at the bar area, but ate upstairs in the white walled top of the tower - original paintings on walls, and nicely lit - it was a bit chilly but in fairness, we were soaked and they had only just opened at lunchtime in November - I should imagine this would be a huge benefit if it was a hot day. (note if the door is closed, this does not mean the place is shut - just push it). We were the first in, but it soon filled up. I liked it because it was different, without being pretentious, it was reasonably priced, and obviously great if you are veggie or vegan. I'd definitely recommend it to veggie/vegan/arty friends, and would also visit again if I was in Wroclaw. I would have a think about it if you have children unless they are the adventurous vegetarian sort - they don't do 'meat alternatives of popular junk food', and all the better for that. Their menu is available online which is helpful.
