There are several parts of the university that you can visit, including several stunningly over the top decorated rooms and the old observatory on the top of the maths tower

The frescoes are some of the best to survive the war in Poland, and although the panorama from the mathematical tower was good I think it was slightly eclipsed by my visit to the Cathedral spire in Ostrow Tumski.

You can choose to stay on the ground floor or do all four rooms, which include walking to the top for a wonderful panoramic view oif Wroclaw. The Leopoldum is a wonder of baroque architceture and the other ooms are a great mix of architecture and museum of the university. You realise what a vibrant and illustrious tradition the university has.

Find a time when the church is open. The interior is fantastic! The sealing! Wow! The other Wroclaw churches looks very impressive and old from the outside but during our weekend there we didn't see any other church interior even close to the one at the university.

Make a visit to the University. Say hello to the little Professor at the door. Admire the Rector's Cap and Gown - Interact with the scientific virtual reality screens and definately pay for the £4 headphone tour of the hall - especially if you like Barogue http://international.uni.wroc.pl/en/welcome-rector/university-wroclaw/gallery and take the trip to the top of the building for the splendid views over Wroclaw.
