Fantastic castle in an imposing position on a hill. Has beautiful woods with centuries old trees and winding paths to follow, if you have time. Many picnic opportunities too.
A friend and I queued to access the castle but then decided that visiting the stud farm was the more important aspect of the visit for us, so we walked there instead (in the grounds of the castle and only 10 zloty entrance fee and 5 for older people). We were astounded by the beautiful stallions (around 100), about 30 mares with foals in a huge barn where the foals were able to walk about into other mare's stalls if they wished - some youngsters had just flopped on the ground asleep and the other foals carefully walked around them!
Horses and tack (even carriages) everywhere and super facilities to view - the sun coming into the wooden inside school was breath-taking and the courtyard was a photographer's dream.
We spent a couple of hours walking around the farm, and then watched a lesson of private, livery horses in the outside school. Although it officially closed at 5pm, we weren't pushed out the door and felt we could have stayed longer had we have wished.
If you like horses, I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
