Having seen the film this was a must. We arrived at 10.00 to find a que already formed. Found out it is free for limited entry on a Monday. We were lucky enough to get in. It is a little crowded but well worth the effort. Very glad we I’d it.

The presentation of the 2nd World War in the museum is very well but there is a lot of text and there are a lot of people in the corridor who try to pass. You get a lot of information but you cannot gather all of it. It would have been better if there was at least an audio guide. The most entertaining part of the museum is a film about Schindlers factory in the small cinema. Unfortunately. there was not so much information about the factory itself.

This is probably a very good or even great WWII and holocaust museum, but we were expecting more of an Oskar Schindler factory museum. Please know this before you go. Also, buy your tickets at the Pankewitz Pharmacy cashier and avoid the very long lines

Allow a minimum of 2 hours to fully appreciate the pictures and the narrative, including the main film, shown in a small cinema. Many personal stories skillfully shared via a mixture of different medium.

The museum had very good displays and was informative, but it seemed to focus more on the life of Jews in the ghettos and their hardships. It is definitely a story worth telling, but I nonetheless was a little surprised at how little of the museum was actually devoted to Oskar Schindler and his efforts to protect the Jews. Near the end of the tour you visit his office, and it provides some information about him, but that was it. Overall a very nice museum, but just be aware that you won't learn a tremendous amount about Schindler.
