Tucked away down a quiet cul de sac yet only a short walk into town this hotel was everything we wanted for our stay in Krakow.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well equipped.
One night the town was very busy and so we went back to the hotel restaurant to get a meal. We were the only guests eating there which was a shame as the food was good and the waitress on duty that evening made sure we were made welcome and went out of her way to look after us.
After the meal we went into the bar which was lovely and cosy and which we used again after we got back from our evening out.
I would certainly recommend this hotel and we were very pleased with our choice and it helped to add to a lovely stay in this city.

A beautiful old restored building. On the border of the old city, and 10 min. Walk from the Jewish quarter. Perfect location.
Very well equipped. Just comfy and well decorated. If you want to feel the atmosphere of the city and yet to have good high quality hotel- this is your place.

My wife and I spent 4 nights here over the Easter weekend. Roughly 400 metres from the main square and similar distance from the Wawel Castle you couldn’t ask for a better location. Some great pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep.

The staff were tremendous from the moment we arrived. We arrived late on the Thursday evening and the gentleman at the front desk showed us three different rooms and allowed us to chose which one we wanted. The room was lovely with everything you would expect to need, if a little small but then I don’t think all rooms are small, it was the price we paid in order to stay at this lovely hotel. My only slight complain (which is why 4 rating rather than 5) is the bed was quite hard. And I couldn’t quite grasp the pillow situation which was a large square pillow rather than the rectangle ones I’m use to.

The hotel has a cute little bar area which is a cosy little library. And the staff were always looking to help and please you without being intrusive. Prices of drinks seem reasonable when visiting from the UK.

Breakfast was your standard continental breakfast with plenty of choices. We did come down late one day and couldn’t find a table, we had somewhere to be so didn’t wait but I’m sure the staff would have found some way to accommodate.

Overall a beautiful little hotel that I would definitely recommend.

Stayed at the Hotel Grodek for three nights with our friends. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. Quiet location, yet only minutes from the main square.
Staff very helpful and trips booked through the hotel were very good with the added bonus of being picked up and dropped back to the hotel.
Good choice at breakfast, and would definitely recommend.

nice hotel, nice location, good breakfast, nice employees, very clean. Very expensive drinks at the bar, avoid having a drink there. The superior rooms were big enough, but the beds could have been better. The light in our heads in the middle of the bed was uncomfortable.

Dear Chris K,

Thank you for your comment.
Due to your opinion, we will try to sell beer from the barrel at an affordable price for our guests. An affordable beer will probably be available in two weeks. If we see interest in more affordable products, we will try to introduce them more.

Regards,
Stefan Donimirski
