I did upon arrival in the early afternoon ask for room on high level and not towards the street.
The receptionist told me that neither a room on a higher floor nor towards the inner yard was available...this without even having a look into the booking system!
I wanted to have a room not towards the street because I like sleeping with an open window.
Later in the evening my colleague arrived at the hotel, he got a room towards the inner yard without even asking....so there were actually rooms available which were not oriented towards the street!
We changed rooms with each and without notice to the hotel this due to that my colleague didn’t bother towards which side he had the room.
The receptionist was not service minded at all, she could have had a look into the booking system before she made a judgement whether it is possible or not to change room.

This is a modern and clean but basic hotel. My room was very clean with a nice flat screen TV but the furnishings were a bit spartan. But that's unimportant. The entire staff (particularly Gabriella) was very friendly and very willing to speak English with a crazy Chicagoan who speaks no Polish. The hotel is very close to the Gliwice town square and the two main Catholic churches (All Saint's and the newer St. Peter & Paul cathedral.)

Great location near city center, vibrant hotel with extremely friendly staff (Ola Szymczyk and Agata Bijak have been very helpful to me in registration and during work periods in the hotel restaurant during off-hours). The bed mattresses are the most comfortable I have found in Gliwice.

Room tip: All rooms I have occupied are good. The rooms on the front of the hotel have slightly more highway noise than those on the side or back.

Pretty good hotel, superb breakfast. Single bed rooms, beds very hard. Twins are ok.
Restaurant is very good, service excellent, thanks to Aleksandra Tomasz Maciej. Her service, smile and proffesionality made my visit special.
