We had a long weekend at the Qubus and to be honest it didn’t disappoint. Upon arrival and to departure we had a trouble free experience.
We were given a river view on the 4th floor and yes there is work opposite but it is covered up and doesn’t impact. The room was clean and comfortable with tea making facilities available. Shower gel is also provided. Coffee cups are disposable but we asked for normal cups and they were provided. Tea and coffee is available also in the restaurant. We could hear the trams going over the bridge but wasn’t an issue. There is roadworks being carried out but there are a lot of works going on in Gdansk.
Breakfast is top notch and plenty available for all tastes. Sauna and gym and kiddies play area are down stairs with a football table aswell. Tea and coffee can be taken to the seating on the river which is a nice relaxing environment.
You can book your free boat trip at reception and is on a first come first served basis. It lasts about 30 minutes and is nice to see Gdansk from this way.
All staff were helpful and not request was a chore.
Our bags were kept save on our day of departure so we could enjoy our last day in comfort.
We took the 210 bus from airport (ensure you go to bus stop 210 showing the direction of main railway.) This bus stop was located by following blue line from arrivals all the way to the bus stops. We paid 3.80 Zlt this is for bus and tram. If you only require bus then it is 3.00. Payable on bus or at ticket machine located next to bus stop 210. then we got the tram from main railway station to tram stop just outside Hotel (tram 8 or 13) download a tram map to make sure (tram stop Chmielma is the hotel)(Dworzec Gly is main railway station). You Tube bus arrivals Gdansk is helpful. I think you can contact the Hotel and they can organise taxi for you to and from airport. There is a train aswell but didnt try.
The walk into the Old Town which is stunning is literally 8-10 minutes max.
We went on a free walking tour on our first day which was good for orientation. Google Gdansk Free walking tour for info.
There is a ferry to Sopot so if you have time and its a lovely day a trip to the beach is great. Sopot was lovely. We paid 40 Zlt each way but also buy your pier ticket aswell for the return trip as you will need this to get back on ferry or get the train back to Gdansk if you want.
All in all Hotel is a safe bet and would recommend.

Great location, excellent staff who were very helpful and informative. Especially Viktoria in the restaurant bar who provided an excellent service and dealt professionally with some challenging customers. Also reception staff who advised and positively made our stay trouble free. Free river boat tour gave us a real insight into our location.

Qubus Hotel Gdansk is a nice hotel with a great location. Rooms are nice, not very big but comfortable. Breakfast is great but the breakfast room is quite a small one and often very crowded. We had to leave very early to the AirPort and it was really nice to get a 'dog bag' with you. The hotel is located with a walking distance to the old tien. If you like shopping you can take a taxi to the Galleria Baltic - a lot of shops to bargain. Prices a reasonable.

Dear Eija,

thank you for your opinion about the stay at Qubus Hotel Gdańsk. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Theoretically, our breakfast room can accommodate about 80 people. In the high season there is actually a problem with finding a free space (especially if most of the guests go down for breakfast at a similar time). However, we are counting on forbearance and understanding. Our breakfast staff strives to make sure that each guest is satisfied.

We welcome you to choose our hotel in the future.

Kind Regards,
Rafał Willich

Stayed her from 30th April until 5th May 3018. What a fantastic stay. The hotel is just beautiful. The staff are so polite not just one individual person all of them. The hotel facilities are all yeh need. We went on the hotel boat ride lived it. The Captain was lovely. The breakfast is to die for. Everything you can mention Danish pastries, fresh smoked salmon, cake, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, waffles I could go on. Also there is a bar fir a tea time drink are a late night cap. The bedroom was lovely and clean the bathroom big enough for 2 persons to move around and a nice big bath. If you need transport from the airport ask the hotel to order you a taxi. We came from the plane and the taxi driver was waiting for us about 20 minute ride costing about £16 pounds. We did the same going back.

Dear Winnie/Bertie,

thank you for posting a positive opinion about your recent stay in our hotel! We are glad that you tasted in our hearty breakfast and that you liked our location.

After reading your opinion, we can see that each of our employees (regardless of position) tries to be hospitable and polite. It is a good sign that confirms the quality of our services.

In agreement with one of the taxi corporations, we organize transfers from the airport, which are very popular when it comes to travel comfort and price. Thank you that this aspect has been honored.

We hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to the area!

Kind Regards,
