This garden is located almost next to my school. When I need to relax and come to other thoughts, this is the place where you just sit on a bench and contemplate. There are sunny spots or shadows and absolutely soothing pond where the fish are located. Everywhere is a lot of beautiful flowers and rare trees, which are described by information boards, so people with an interest in botany, there definitely will be like in paradise. I also recommend visiting the greenhouse, which is also very educational and beautiful. Particularly recommended a visit during the spring when everything blooms and awakens to life. So if you have a spring or summer trip around, do not hesitate. Oh, and entrance to the garden is free :)

The botanical garden is small but peaceful and beautiful. I went on autumn, so it was very colorful. There are many names and signs, but everything is in Czech, though. There was nothing in English.

Hidden oasis of floral beauty and serenity: Botanical Garden of the Masaryk University Faculty of Natural Sciences. Located conveniently close to the city centre - only 3 stops by tram along Veveri St. from the centre (Ceska Street). It is situated within the old campus of the Masaryk University Faculty of Natural Sciences.

This is one of the best gardens I've been to. It's not so big but packed with botanical wonders. I would highly recommend a visit.

Such a peaceful, small garden. Much interest with displays of plants growing in different conditions and places. Lovely ponds. My favourites are the vegetables and how they grow tomatoes and cucumber in the compost heap! Great idea!!
