2-hour Segway Tour in Brno: Conquer the Spilberk...
Ranked #12 of 98 things to do in Brno
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 3 January 2018

There was reconstruction several years ago but result is not very nice. Comparing to city centers at other historical towns it is rather poor. There are shops, restaurants, sometimes open air markets but there is no special spirit, nothing special, nothing extra, nothing worth seeing.

Worth seeing. Christmas markets were in the area. Lovely nativity scenes throughout the area. Lots of old buildings to see.

Friendly for Brno residents and for visitors too - lot of cafes and restaurants, KFC and McDonalds for fast food lovers, easy to have a sit and having a rest. Nowadays nice and cool XMas market.

Except for the activity around the rather strange clock/war memorial, during the day this could be any other square, with fast food restaurants and cafes. In the evening though, the pace slows down, and the bars and restaurants with lanterns and blankets create a cosy nighttime atmosphere. There are often craft, beer, or wine festivals on the square so you can sample local products. Just watch out for the trams which carry on late into the night.

This city is slow and calm in the day. I found I was walking too fast and I just stopped and walked slower as the day was walm and not many people were around as it was a Sunday. Mainly tourist around in Coffee Bars. But during the Night on the weekend is a different story. Locals and drunkards behaving like football holligans. I suppose thats all around the world. Lot's of shops and restaurants and bars.
