Great tour, fantastic square for shopping and relaxing.. !!! Many markets, academic bookstores, bistros and cafeterias, mc donalds and starbacks! Easy to go and walk without being lost, with many monuments and attractions. In this square there are many kiosks with staff for the house, wines, local food and christmas staff.

Well, it is quite unusual square where I still don't know if I like it or not. It seem to me that it has no atmosphere. Example is Christmas market. No atmosphere at all. I don't know how to improve...

I like to return to certain places meeting there friends. Mili that works for the Kosut winery decorates the Freedom Square several times in the year. As a bonus to the good wine I enjoy conversation in Czech, English, Russian and Spanish for wine lovers from all parts of planet gathered there. This time I inspired a couple from Dresden to try the dry Traminer and they were pleasantly surprised. Cheers!

Typical fetching European square with the traditional fountain, cobbles, museum, and different colour baroque building features. Day time the square has the infamous veg and flower market, but if you want to see the tunnelling network system underneath the square (Labyrinth), then proceed to the entrance located on one of the square's corners.
Surprising when no market is on, the influx of vehicles allowed in this busy pedestrian area. Very easy walking access to the city's other main attractions...

This main square of Brno doesn't look nice after the reconstruction. When I compare it to other cities, I miss here the "old feeling" which other main squares have. There is a lot of shops, restaurants and clubs. This square is nothing special, I think it's good only as a meeting point.

This is the main square which you probably cannot avoid. Nothing special by itself, but serves as a good meeting point. Starbucks present.

This is the main center square of Brno. The tram passed directly through it from the central station up the hill. The square has been refurbished and has a clean, fresh outlook nowadays. Many large stores nearby, but the more interesting stuff is into the side streets from here. If you visit with children during the summer, there is a nice fountain in the corner. Also some coffee and ice cream options. During the winter time, there is a nice X-mas market. And of course some other seasonal activities.

Liberty Square, which ironically is actually a triangle, is the heart of the old city with a “beach” area where folding chairs are laid out surrounding a fountain and people are welcomed to relax. The odd bullet shaped Brno Clock always has few people with their hands inserted into it around 11:00 when a glass ball souvenir drops for the one lucky recipient.

Nice place to chill with the friends with a mcfreese :) (there is a mcdonalsd at the corner). Huge statue, and eventually here could be food truck festivals (when I was here at may). The tram passing by across the statue, it's enjoying. You can feel here that the city is living.
