We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Prague during the month of April. The hotel was very clean and well kept. They were finishing some updates to the lobby when we arrived and were finished by the time we left. The beds are a little stiff and the doors are a little noisy if left to close on their own.....other than that, the place was great.
Great location....we walked to everything. Close to the train station, Old Town, Charles Bridge, and the castle quarter.
The breakfast everyday was a treat too.....quite a nice variety and tasted fresh. Bartender was nice when we got there and informed us of things to look out for while we were visiting.
A great hotel all around.......

I would say this is the Czech version of Premier Inn's in the U.K. It is clean, everything works but lacks the little touches that make staying in a hotel special. For example, only two towels in the bathroom, no hand towels. No tea and coffee making facilities available, although I think I saw something in reception which offered this at an extra cost but the reception staff did not mention it. No mini bar in the room, people would use it and spend money. Our room was on the fifth floor, which was a loft conversion type room with windows that faced the sky, no view ( other than the sky ). Breakfast, now there's the rub. When we stayed I think all of France and Italy also stayed, mainly young people on what appeared to be school trips, but long queues for only two cooked items, scrambled eggs and "sausages". The rest was healthy stuff, enjoyed by many, but not me who would have liked a cooked breakfast. Very much a canteen experience, not pleasant. Finally it is not in Wenceslas Square, it is a long downhill walk to the square and an even longer uphill walk back. We loved Prague, don't think about driving just walk and enjoy.

Room Tip: If you like a view then not the fifth floor.

I have been there for business, but the hotel is more suitable for tourists. Price is fine. Wifi is fee. Breakfast is not splendid but fairly reasonable. But the restaurant is noisy in the morning (while empty in the evenibg).

I am still advising this hotel. Jogging distance from the center (I had a fantastic one early in the morning), but not really walking distance. Metro is at the corner and very convenient.

We were booked into the Ibis through a holiday package deal, so we weren't expecting much, but were so pleased with this hotel!

Prague isn't huge and you can walk everywhere, and the Ibis is the perfect jumping off point. It's not in a very busy area, so there is no problem with noise, but it's a block away from IP Pavlova on the red line, which makes it easy to get anywhere in the city very quickly.

The place isn't fancy by any means, but the rooms are good size, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were warm with great water pressure. The staff was exceptional. Very welcoming, absolutely no fuss checking in or out.

Breakfast was included with our package (an extra 11 euros per person, i think) and was fabulous. great selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits, meats, breads, hot meals, juice and a coffee machine. We took full advantage every morning, and were always full and fueled for a big day of exploring ahead. The staff in the restaurant were SO FRIENDLY, too. Love love love it.

I would say my only complaint is we were put on a smoking floor. While i couldn't sense any smell in our room (the hallway was a different story), my husband is very sensitive to smell and had a hard time sleeping due to the cigarette smell that lingered. We could've probably requested another room, but to be honest, we were barely in there so wasn't really worth the complaint.

All in all, great spot to stay while in Prague, and we would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Be sure to request non-smoking if possible. Not sure they offer non-smoking, though.
