Stayed here for 3 night break from dec 11th to 14 2011. The hotel is in easy reach of all the sights and you dont need to go by tram ot metro you will see a lot more walking. hotel was confortable has tea and coffee for first day for the rest go to the mini market up the street. the breakfast was ok coffee ceral and when we stayed were the only irish people there.the hotel was busy with polish and latvian people staying for the xmas markets. cant fault the hotel tv has cnn and bbc world but prague is a fab city go out and enjoy it forget the horror stories of pick pockets. go and see prague castle, take a river cruise 15euro in a heated boat with free coffe and cake booking at wencilas square kiost. beer is cheap but if you are driving petrol and diesel as same as ireland and uk and as regards echo shoes they are more expensive.but the xmas markets are a joy i was there day and nite full of bargains from hand made jewelery and fridge magnets and if you are hungry grab a hotdog and coffee or warm mulled wine with some bread that is springkled with sugar i dont know the name but please try it its gorgous. packed a lot in 3 days river cruise, city tour walk over charles brige and the pubs are cheap. cant wait to go again the time went way too fast... always a good thing.

Room Tip: great location. very cheap and close to everything.

Don't listen to all the bad reviews on this site, we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and the staff were friendly and couldnt have been more helpful. The breakfast was lovely (your in a european country so its never going to be a full english breakfast, stay in england if you want that for breakfast!) There is a bar it is in the restaurant.
The hotel was clean and tidy and in the perfect location to walk to most of the main attractions. We will definately be returning in the future.
I would definately recommend this hotel.

Don't have high expectations for this hotel.
We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was clean and adequate for our purposes,we were on the top floor with velux window offering great rooftop views into the city. Clean bathroom with shower.
So why do I say don't have high expectations.
On arrival we were greeted by a male receptionist who could do with some training on how to be welcoming. He did get more helpful during our 3 days there. On the 2nd day I went to reception for more tea and coffee for the room, only to be told " you checked in yesterday and only get a welcome drink" so take some tea and coffee with you if you want to drink in your room.
Breakfast is ok, but don't expect a full English. Continental breakfast is what's on offer, the yoghurt with fruit was very nice.
All in all I'd compare the hotel to travelodges in the UK, which is great if your on a buget and don't want frills.
The hotel.served it's purpose for the time we were in Prague, however if we go to Prague again we'd look elsewhere for a slightly better experience.
It's debatable wether I'd recommend this hotel, but as the choice is yes or no, because of the location(10/15 minute walk to Wenceslas square, the cost, i'll say yes.

We stayed at Prague Centre Plaza for 5 nights and found it clean and basic but noisy at night with banging doors, shouting in corridors and had difficulty sleeping even with ear plugs!! Would advise to pay a bit extra and find accommodation more soundproof. Was a fair walk to the centre probably 25 mins, a busy road outside hotel with 4 lanes of traffic but window blocks out most of the noise. Breakfast was OK nothing special. Hotel also has a Salt Cave in the basement but no bar. Reception was usually quite busy so expect a wait to be seen. If you are on a budget - hotel probably Ok but if you can afford it pay a bit extra for a better location and quieter hotel.
