Stayed at the Savic for A long weekend back in May, Went with Jet2 , had a great time. The Hotel is positioned just round the corner from the main square. Central for all the sights etc. All within walking distance. Stayed B & B. The room was up in the "Attic" not for people who cannot manage the short spiral staircase (the lift does not go all the way) But we were fine. The room was a little low in parts as the beams went through the room, but was nicely furnished all very clean with a lovely bathroom. The bed was very comfy. It was very warm on our visit and alas the air-con was not working in any rooms (faulty) So we used the fan in the room, not that it made much difference though, we did get noise at night time due to the late nighters going back to their hotels etc, and due to the heat we could not shut the window..... but we did not let this spoil our break. On check we were given lots of info etc, and a bottle of bubbly sent to our room for hubbys birthday. Breakfast was usual fruit, cold meats, etc. Omelettes were made to order. Plenty to eat for your day out sight seeing. Prague was superb, much more than I had expected. Very gothic , great buildings the castle, churches, museums, and we did them all on foot, which we thought was great had you did not have to bother with other means of transport (although its there if you need it) Our evening meals were if honest not the best, but we were only there for 2 nights so did not have time to look around for restaurants, at the end of our days pounding the streets we just wanted to eat and then crash out !!. We arranged our Airport transfers on line through Prague Transfers they were great. Waiting for us at the airport and picked us up on time on our return, you can pay when you book our on arrival, we did the latter, and then paid for the return journey when we we collected for the return journey. Very good drivers, lovely cars and nobody else sharing. I would love to go back to prague again and maybe stay in this Hotel if I knew the Aircon was working or perhaps in the Winter months when you would not need it, I would imagine this Hotel in Winter time Prague would be very romantic..... yes I would go again, the sights, the history, the shops, everything is in Prague

Room Tip: If you have walking difficulties make sure you dont get an attic room

Its beginning to feel like a second home to me now. the staff are polite and courteous, and the hotel smart and clean, standards really high; what more does a traveller want? Strongly recommend the hotel

We decided to book a junior suite at the Savic for 3 nights at the end of May. Location of the hotel is perfect - 2 minutes from Old Town Square but still pretty quiet (my wife did hear some drunks one night which I slept through). Our room was 303 - a very large space with a sitting area, large walk-in closet and marble-everywhere bathroom. A few bumps and bangs that needed a coat of paint to cover up but otherwise great. Bathroom looked like it may have had a problem with water from the shower causing an issue with the marble floor (big gap around the shower door that let water out - easy fix??) but was otherwise quite luxurious. A/C worked well and was really quiet.
Reception was very helpful and friendly whenever we came and went. Breakfast was good. My wife loved the fact she could have champagne and orange juice every morning. Made to order omelets were really good.

The perfect place to explore the heart of Prague while enjoying great friendly service, unique and well appointed rooms and a very good restaurent and bar - all within a few minutes of all the 'Old town' has to offer! We are recommending to friends and our travel agent too!

Room Tip: All rooms are unique with large 'common area louges' on each floor to gather with friends!

Lovely hotel and fairly quiet considering its location right in the old town.Heard a few revellers on Saturday night but didn't amount to much.Friendly and informative greeting, large room (one of only 28 I think) in a quirky house with different levels. No view but then no traffic noise. My only criticism would be the breakfast area was a little cramped and the food 'sections' a little dispersed.Small restaurant outside the front may stop you even finding it!The perfect location near to the Old Town and a great base ,made up for any imperfections and I would definitely stay there again if in Prague.Highly recommended!
