“Fantastic weekend city break in Prague”

We stayed at The Loft in November for a long weekend with friends. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and spacious with some very special touches, fresh fruit, cake and a bottle of water and glasses beside each bed. The apartment was just a short tram ride away from the city centre and there were plenty of really lovely places to eat close to the apartment. All in all we would thoroughly recommend The Loft for anyone thinking of a city break in Prague. A big thank you to Lucie for all her help.

“ A fantastic stay at The Loft! ”

We visited Prague for 4 days and stayed at The Loft. We were welcomed by Lucy who was super helpful and welcoming. The Loft is amazing and was perfect for relaxing during the stay. Lucy was able to book taxis, suggest places to eat, answer questions and was more than accommodating in every way.

It's in a great location with lots of lovely cafes and restaurants close by, must visits include Jens Cafe for an amazing choice of breakfasts (5 min walk), the pink building restaurant (3 min walk) and the Thai (near Tesco express) all of which are nearby and recommended by Lucy. We also visited a restaurant called Taverna Olypus which is a Greek restaurant and was by far the best food we had whilst we were there.

We purchased a 4 day travel ticket for about £9 from the airport, this includes your travel around the city and was well worth it. The taxi from the airport was about £30 from the AAA taxi box in the terminal, they do a 40% off return voucher so collet one of these as well to get a cheap return taxi journey back to the airport.

We visited a number of places including Charles bridge (5/5), the observation tower (4/5), old town (5/5) the chocolate factory (2/5), the castle (5/5), black light show in old town (0/5), did a classic car tour around the city (5/5), went Zorbing on the river (5/5), river boat lunch (4/5) and many more things... Leaflets are all available in the accommodation and Lucy can help to suggest how to get to these places.

Overall we had a great stay, we would highly recommend visiting the city and certainly recommend staying at The loft. If your looking for a warm, homely, clean and comfortable stay with a great host then we suggest here!!!

“Excellent value and location”

Lucie was really helpful, booking taxis from and to the airport for us and letting us leave our cases as we arrived on an early flight. The apartment was spacious and light. The kitchen had loads of equipment and the large fridge was really handy for keeping the beers cold during the extreme heat we had!! There was one large fan but we could have done with something in the bedrooms as they were warm even with the windows open at night. The mezzanine level was fine for my friend but there was no blinds on the velux windows, so it might have been tricky if you were a light sleeper. Couldn't see where the computer was that was advertised but it didn't matter as we had Wi-Fi to use on other devices. We will hopefully be back in the future as the apartment was so convenient for getting into the main areas of Prague but also the local deli was so lovely!

“Ideal base for a long weekend in Prague”

Stayed in this wonderful apartment with 5 friends over three nights. The apartment is so spacious and everything we needed was provided, along with some extra touches such as cake, beer and a fruit bowl to really give our trip that special feeling! Lucie impressed us all with her knowledge of Prague which she was more than happy to share with us all.

Location was excellent as well, being a stone's throw away from the 22 tram which took us all the way up to Prague castle, and with several convenience stores and bakeries nearby.

“Fabulous Apartment, highly recommended”

Hugh and Lucie couldn't do enough to help during our stay, advising on tram ticket purchase, ordering taxis for us and advice on the best coffee and pastries (Paul's). The apartment had everything we needed including more varieties of teabag than we had ever seen! We were two couples and each coupe had a downstairs bedroom and our own bathroom. There were two more double beds on the open gallery, separated by a wall, which would be fine for older children or couples who don't mind little privacy. The apartment was on the 5th floor but there was a lift. Perfectly situated in a relatively quiet area just outside the city centre but dead easy to catch any number of very cheap trams just outside the apartment. Would definitely recommend this apartment and will be returning.
