This hotel has a great city centre location, with it being 15 minutes away from Wenceslas Square and there are a variety of restaurants located on the streets around the hotel. The hotel has a free wifi, but it can only be used in the reception and they offer a premium one that you have to pay for but you can use it in the rooms. The breakfast is okay but lacks amenities like a toaster. The rooms can get very warm and lack air conditioning, so opening the windows is a must. Overall its a nice budget hotel but don't expect too much of it.

pro: Breakfast was very good, nice cosy beds, warm, big closet, carpet on floor

cons: Not close to city center, room close to entrance had coldest bathroom i have ever seen, in the evening there wasn't warm water, i think it's number 105, door of bathroom was broken, internet free only at reception (very poor)

overall: if i have to choose not any more

The room was overall clean. The bathroom newly furnished and clean. No hair dryer available only upon request from reception. The buffet was nice. One could have a fulfilling breakfast however no fruits available except for orange slices. The room was noisy 24 hrs/day from the street noise. There were no shutters or dark colored curtains for the windows so the room was flooded with light upon daybreak. No satellite tv as advertised. The tv in the room was a tiny laptop screen with 5 local channels. Both metro stations nearby on two opposite directions were NOT within a 5 minute walk as advertised.More like 15 minutes or so.

pros:
food, location

cons:
room 205 with broken heater (stuck on "5" with no way to change the temperature, also no option to sleep with opened windows due to extremely heavy traffic)and staff ignored our request regarding high temperature, cold water in the evening, stench of sewer from the bathroom, no free WIFI in rooms, no kettle or fridge, yellow stains on towels.

Room Tip: everything but room 205!!!

This hotel have 3 stars but it isn't something. Hotel zuglo in budapest have 3 stars and it's much better than this one. City club has free wifi on reception but in the rooms you have to pay 3 euro per 24h. Maid workers know to steal stuff from the guests when they're not in the room this the reason more to take room sef and pay more. Comparations between zuglu and city club are huge and I more prefer zuglo
