During our 7 night stay we felt very welcome in the hotel. All the reception staff were so cheerful, friendly, courteous and helpful and made us feel as though we were coming home as we entered the hotel. The reception staff and helped us to find a dentist when my wife broke a tooth and she was able to have the tooth quickly repaired. The location of the hotel was wonderful, the breakfast food was good and we enjoyed our two meals at the restaurant celebrating my wife's birthday and then the birthday of one of our relatives who joined us during our second stay at the hotel. The sparkling Brut that each received in the room was another special touch. Other small gifts such as chocolates, fruit and biscuits appeared in the room over the period of our stay. The hotel is located directly next to the Tower on Charles Bridge and ideal for a stroll across the bridge in the evening. Public transport is available near by. Public transport from the airport was easy taking Bus 119 to the end of Metro A and travelling for two stations on the Metro.
Over the 7 night stay which was broken into 3 nights then a trip to Cesky Krumlov and then a further 4 nights we were in two different rooms and also viewed the room occupied by friends. Having seen 3 of the 12 rooms currently available in the hotel we were very pleased with the large sized rooms and their amenities. The hotel is to occupy a second building in late July which will provide another 18 rooms nearby.
We wish you all well as you expand into the new building

Hotel Pod Vezi is the absolutely best accommodation in Prague.
It is centrally located on the banks of the Moldau River, three block away from the US Embassy, in the Lesser Quarter of the Old Town. Though a mere stone throw away from the Charles Bridge and thus susceptible to tremendous number of tourists and every day pedestrians alike, the noise was quite minimal.
The front desk personnel were cordial and extremely friendly and helpful. Their command of the English language was adequate to please even the most ardent traveler to point him/her in the correct direction.
The accommodations are roomy, clean and pleasant to stay in. That said, there were two minor drawbacks noted; first, the shower -- there is not one. Rather, there is a large bathtub with a glass partition which acts as a shower(?) It is not adequate to do its intended purpose and thus leaves large amount of water on the floor no matter how careful one can be. On the other hand, there was always plenty of warm/hot water available. Second, only one English speaking TV channel. That too was minor.
There is a restaurant on the premises with two outside and one permanent inside seating arrangements. The service is excellent, as the waiters are proficient in more than three spoken languages. The breakfast is an awesome display of culinary products. The excellence of this hotel derives from their personnel. We arrived late one evening as the kitchen was closing - yet the head waiter was willing to scrounge an excellent meal without any problems. The same attitude was displayed by all of the hotels personnel during our four days stay.
Highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the City of Thousand Steeples!

The room (more a suite) was excellent, spacious and clean, the staff most helpful and obliging. The location is another winner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel based on amenities, location, staff, free wifi, breakfast in the adjoining restaurant, and cost. We were asked if we would mind an upgrade for our last night, which we 'reluctantly' accepted, and we're given a bottle of wine and a fruit platter for the 'inconvenience'. That's what you call good service. The staff were most efficient and helpful; full marks to Pod Vezi! We ate twice at Pod Vezi restaurant for dinner; after a day sightseeing, we couldn't be bothered looking further afield; we enjoyed our meals here very much, excellent and attentive staff.

Just got back from Prague and stayed at the pod vezi. Amazing little hotel, right in the hustle bustle but behind the main street making it perfect for being away from the noise but right by it.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was generous and tasty. We thought it was incredible value for money and will return when we return to Prague.
Only slight suggestion i would make would be to put more plug sockets in the room and to use bigger curtains but these points certainly haven't put me off.
If you're thinking of booking i don't think you'll be disappointed.
Loved the outdoor terrace at the front of the hotel to sit and have breakfast, was so nice watching the tourists of Prague go by.
There is a terrace on the top of the hotel which is nice in the evening.
Food portions were very generous as we discovered when my toddlers child portion of food came through.
Wifi in the hotel.
Lovely gifts of chocolate, biscuits and fruit in the rooms on arrival and occasionally in the evening.
Already looking forward to going back. :-)
