“Prague - The Paris Alternative”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

What a fantastic time I had in this other romantic city. My stay in Prague included the Four Seasons and all of his finesse and refinement. I love this hotel and look forward to returning.

It's old world charm fused with the modernity of the times, is the perfect mix.

The food is unbelievable. I had the opportunity to meet Rene Beauchamp, the captain (GM) of this lovely ship. What a charasmatic guy who has made his indellible mark on this place.

The staff is second to none, attentive and amazing. Once you receive this level of service, you won't want to stay anywhere else.

Paris is one of my favorite cities in the world, but my visit to Prague managed to trump all expectations.

Prague is my new fave and I will be back again!

Room Tip: I had one of the Renaissance rooms with a view of the front of the hotel and street. I loved it bec...

If you're looking for excellent accommodations and service, the Four Seasons Prague is the place to be. Centrally located with easy access to Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle as well as Old Town Prague. Staff could not have been more pleasant from the door greeter to the bellman. Excellent restaurant and bar (small but sufficient)...great staff there as well. Rooms are well appointed, spacious and quiet. You just cannot go wrong at the Four Seasons Prague.

Room Tip: I stayed in a traditional room which is beautiful, but the modern rooms higher up have the best view...

We had just come from the Gresham Palace in Budapest which was one of the best hotels in the world and no Four Seasons could barely rival. Even though Budapest was grander, this was also within the standards of the Four Seasons. We traveled with American Express and were shown to our upgraded room which was small. We were told it was a double upgrade so fear those who had a smaller room. We were given two options of additional upgrade for a fee so we moved. The first was a view of the river but room was still rather small so we opted not to have the view but take the grander larger room with higher ceilings in the older wing. The feel of the room was much better. We enjoyed the beautiful flowers in the lobby. The restaurant was newly renovated in a contemporary casual style. We had our first meal and enjoyed the food and staff. The location is superb within minutes of the Charles Bridge. The hotel has a narrow view of the river. We enjoyed walking almost everywhere right from the hotel so a car really isn't needed. We did hire a guide who drove the first day here and there. The second day we took a walking tour. We love the Four Seasons service so can't go wrong if you don't mind spending a bit more.

Room Tip: If you like larger rooms, ask for the older section but they don't have the river view.

The Four Seasons Prague is a reasonably new hotel, but it is incredibly well integrated in the Prague-ian atmosphere. With a stay at the at this hotel you are guaranteed the Four Seasons standard, but at the same time you are provided with the 2 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and great views of the city, castle and quaint streets from your hotel window. We had originally booked a standard double room, but were upgraded to a suite and enjoyed amazing balcony views of all of the aforementioned attributes. However, our original room would have had them as well. The in-house restaurant had a large selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We never ran out of options and we were satisfied by the all the dishes (especially the ones with lobster). I would highly recommend a stay at the Four Seasons in Prague to anyone who would like to have a great time both in the city, but also at their hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the Charles Bridge provide for scenic and beautiful views of the city.

- This is a beautiful hotel with great location next to charles bridge and old town square, and with great views of the river and the Prague Castle. There were also lots of nice restaurants around.
- This time, we got the hotel limousine to pick us up from the airport (since last time we were in prague, we were ripped off by the taxi driver). The car was mercedes S class. Water was provided inside. When we arrived at the hotel, 3 hotel staff were outside waiting for us in the driveway and one lady took us to the room for immediate check in. what a service!
- The hotel and the room is beautifuly designed, classic style with lots of chandeliers, and using good quality materials (you can tell).
- We stayed here as part of our honeymoon, so the hotel arranged the pillow cases to be embroidered with our initials. What special treatment!
- Breakfast was very nice and good quality. It was a la carte, so everyday you can order different things and try new dishes. My favorite dish was the poached eggs in amatriciana sauce.
- Using the internet in the business center was free! (not many hotels in europe provide free internet nowadays.)
- If you are in the Four SEasons prague, you should exchange money at the hotel since they give good rates. We were ripped off by a currency exchange shop in old town square that charged us 20% commission!?!? then realised the exchange rate in the hotel was much better, and no commission charged!
- there was no swimming pool. But we used the sauna. These facilities and the gym were in tip top conditions.
- All tHe staff were very friendly and helpful
- Overall it was a wonderful place to spend 3 nights of our honeymoon here. The location is simply the best.
