“Luxurious Prague hotel outside noisy parts of Prague”
Reviewed 21 July 2012

Would you like to stay in a luxury place in Prague outside the typical tourist places? We live in Prague and we stayed there for our wedding night after wedding party. The hotel management was very kind, they upgraded us as a wedding gift. I was there several times in the restaurant for a romantic dinner. The service is perfect and premisses is new and luxurious. The location: It is in Prague 2. The downtown with all tourists attractions is in Prague 1. So it isn't far from it. You can walk (use a public transportation) and see normal Prague life or take a taxi for less then 10 EUR.
The breakfast is great. The selection and quality is just perfect and till almost noon.

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floors has just roof windows so there is no view.

We spent 4 days in Prague at this gem. Brilliant, welcome service. Extremely professional & friendly.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place. We arrived at almost midnight after a shocking train trip from Zurich. The staff were expecting us & welcomed us by name immediately upon entering the hotel, that was a nice touch.
The fit and finish match the warm and professional service. Do yourself a favour and check into this gem.
The Wencelas square is approximately a 15 min walk away so it is still quite accessible.

We spent a very nice week at Le Palais. The staff looked after us very well; they whisked our bags up to the room when we arrived, while someone gave us a little tour of the hotel. The room was large enough for us (we didn't book a suite, after all). The bathroom was great; underfloor heating! I particularly enjoyed the free minibar, and made my appreciation clear by drinking all the beer every night.
The building is beautiful (as you can see from the numerous pictures online). It is a little distance from the centre, but you can walk there (straight up the road) in 15 minutes; alternatively, a five minute walk will take you to Namesti Miru, where you have a choice of the (excellent) metro system, or the trams.
The hotel breakfast is fine. A reasonable choice of hot and cold foods, fruit, cheeses etc. For food in the area, try Las Adelitas for Mexican, or Grosseto (Namesti Miru) for Pizza. Both a five minute walk from the hotel.
My partner particularly enjoyed the spa downstairs. Lots of pampering treatments, and she spent a pleasant afternoon down there being, well, pampered. The only drawback is that this can take a while. What is a gentleman to do with an afternoon on his own, in a city stuffed with so many excellent pubs selling some of the best beer in the world?
Anyway, back to the hotel. They lay on a free car to the centre and back several times a day, and also a (not free) car to and from the airport. The airport service may cost a little more than a taxi, but saves you the worry.

From the moment we arrived we felt like we had arrived in a very special city. We were very nicely welcomed. The hotel is situated on a hill. Outside were beautiful sculptures. Such an elegant hotel. Our rooms were stylish and welcoming, very clean and comfortable. The meals were delicious. We loved the walk into the city, not too far to have a nice walk. We had good meals in the vicinity. I fell in love with Prague and I hope to return. I wish we could have stayed longer there was still so many places we would have liked to see.

I stayed in Le Palais for a week with my sister. We both thought the service was great! The room and the bathroom were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The only 2 downsides were that the hotel is a bit far from the centre and also the rooms appeared to be smaller than advertised.

Room Tip: The bathroom was the cleanest I have encountered in any hotel.
