For me Prague is a city where things get better all the time. However, feeling that one has over paid for the quality of the drinks and food consumed is still quite common in this city.
Finding the right place, if you are a visitor, could be difficult to find. Many places even listed on guide books, my feeling is that, they have to have contents, so, they lowered the bar.
Here is one Coffee shop that will not disappoint you.
The price is a bit on the higher end, however the taste of the coffee justifies every penny spent on it.
Since coffee is not very good here, I tend to ask for brown sugar if available, so, naturally I asked for it, however, to my surprise, the waitress girl told me that it would be much more enjoyable if I didn't. Same went to my other friend that asked for milk for his coffee.
Feeling like am in a Japanese noodle shop where the owner sometimes does not allow you to use pepper and other spices since his soup is perfect and will be ruined, we agreed and tried it.
Wow. one of the best coffees I have ever had in Europe. I truly advise to try it if you are close by.
I will not go into the gastronomic comments. One sip will tell you all, the whole story.
Taste like this can only be achieved by dedication and true knowledge.
The place is small yet very cozy, nice & friendly in style and atmosphere.
Met the owner as well, very nice and easy going man in his late 30's(?)
Will definitely go every time I am near by.
Didn't try the food & cakes, but the cakes looked very good.
But again, it's here. Looks could be deceiving but I have a feeling that by the taste of coffee, the rest will be good as well.
