Hotel is very well located in the city spa center, easy to find, next to the river with their own café at the bridge. Parking is in front of hotel on the street but they have reserved 3 places for hotel guests (if 4 cars will arrive ......???)They have nicely decorated historical style rooms, well equiped, we were not missing anything. Staff is friendly, especially manager of their nice restaurant which is decorated in rustical style - food is more typical Czech, but they had also fresh oysters and fish, generally good quality, but not for a Michelin star, wines and drinks are little bit overpriced. They provide only massages in this hotel (no balneo) and I can say very good massages ! Mr. Valenta knows his job. Breakfast buffet was also very good served in patio breakfast room with fireplace. No complains, we had 2 days package which did the deal as a good value for money.

Room Tip: We had lux room, which was the larger one, with working desk, sitting area, sofa.

We were last in Karlovy Vary in 2002 and had forgotten which hotel we had stayed at so we picked a tripadvisor recommadation and this was a good choice. The hotel was very welcoming and the room was large with a balcony overlooking the town. The breakfast was very good.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the front with a balcony

This hotel is a real gem among the many hotels in Karlovy Vary. We originally intended to book the famous Grandhotel Pupp, but after reading the tripadvisor reviews we changed our mind and were happy we did so (a visit of Café Pupp made us even more relieved we didn't book there).

We booked a deluxe room and were given one of the two balcony rooms (301 and 303) with gorgeous of the river Teplá. The room was spacious, super clean and well appointed, beds were comfy, free Wifi was fast, but a little unstable.

Breakfast buffet in a nice glass covered hall with fireplace was plentiful, egg dishes made to order were available, there was Bohemian sparkling wine and even some thermal spring water was offered.

Front desk, bell and breakfast staff was very friendly. Parking was free.

On two out of three evenings, we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we were not disappointed: tasty food, nice wines, served by a knowledgeable staff.

Thank you, tripadvisor for helping us make to right choice. We will definately return!

Room Tip: Rooms 301 and 303 have balconies.
