We trusted in the Mercure brand. What a mistake. This is a (former) motel(!) built probably in the 1970s or 1980s clinging to the ledge of a hill or mountain. It has been prettied up .. to a point, except for the very portion of the complex WE stayed in. Mould in the bathroom, patchy carpets, shortage of power points, dead insects and cobwebs near the entrance to our room, some garbage thrown out of windows into the adjacent forest, difficult access for those with heaps of bags = either stairs up and down OR quasi underneath the building over an uneven surface with NO(!) lights at all. Restaurant overpriced & of poor quality catering to those with an inverse ratio between teeth and tattoos. We booked for 3 nights, wanted to leave after 1 night, were told 'no refund' if we left after 1 night but leaving after 2 nights was okay .. and were indeed refunded that 1 night we did not stay. There ARE better.
